Prime Minister of Mongolia N. Uchral visited the data center at Dalian Industrial Park in China on June 25 to learn about its operations and the latest developments in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
The delegation was briefed on how the facility supports businesses, scientific research, smart city development, and AI applications across a range of industries. The industrial park is home to hundreds of companies, including leading technology firms, and serves as one of Northeast China’s major digital innovation hubs.
As demand for data centers continues to grow worldwide, Mongolia is working to strengthen the legal framework needed to support the country’s digital economy. The Government has released a draft Data Law for public consultation to provide greater legal certainty for investors and encourage investment in digital infrastructure.
