Department for Sectoral Policy and Regulation

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Provide advisory and support on policy planning, management, and coordination of the finance, budget, banking, economy, nature, and environment, tourism, defense, disaster protection, gender, labor, social welfare sectors. Prepare issues to be discussed at the Government Cabinet sessions in compliance with relevant procedures, develop the Cabinet Secretariat proposals, provide advice and information to the management;
  • Provide advisory and support on policy planning, management, and coordination of the construction, urban development, road, transport development, mining, heavy industries, food, agriculture, light industries, energy, nuclear energy, state property, public procurement, specialized inspection, standard, metrology, fair competition, customer rights protection sectors. Prepare issues to be discussed at the Government Cabinet sessions in compliance with relevant procedures, develop the Cabinet Secretariat proposals, provide advice and information to the management;
  • Provide advisory and support on policy planning, management, and coordination of education, culture, science, public and professional sports, health care sectors.  Prepare issues to be discussed at the Government Cabinet sessions in compliance with relevant procedures, develop the Cabinet Secretariat proposals, provide advice and information to the management;
  • Provide advisory and support on policy planning, management, and coordination of foreign affairs. Prepare issues to be discussed at the Government Cabinet sessions in compliance with relevant procedures, develop the Cabinet Secretariat proposals, provide advice and information to the management.
